The draft accounts of the Gibraltar Sports and Leisure Authority for the financial years 2009-10 to 2023-24 were submitted to the Principal Auditor on 12 August 2024. The draft accounts of the Gibraltar Sports and Leisure Authority for the financial year 2024-25 were submitted to the Principal Auditor on 13 May 2025. The review of these accounts is currently ongoing. Although submitted, the accounts from 2009-10 to 2022-23 were submitted contrary to the provisions of section 15(2) of the Gibraltar Sports and Leisure Authority Act, 2002, which requires the Gibraltar Sports and Leisure Authority to submit its accounts to the Principal Auditor for the purpose of auditing and certification within seven months after the end of the financial year to be audited.
